Arabica and Robusta beans are the two most prominent coffee varieties, each with distinct characteristics. Our Tayrona Arabica beans, grown in the mountains of Sierra Nevada, have low acidity and cacao notes. In contrast, Robusta beans, cultivated in the lowlands of Mexico, have a stronger, more robust taste with a grainier, nuttier profile and higher caffeine content. When combined, these beans deliver an espresso experience that brings the best of both worlds.
